The Highlights

Oceanfront property is becoming exceedingly scarce, especially on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. The gentle slope of the land and the intentionally arranged lots guarantee an unobstructed ocean view right from the comfort of your home. For those eager to feel the ocean breeze on their skin, residents will have the option to rent boat slips at the nearby Cherry Point Marina.

Situated in the heart of Cowichan Bay, Duke's Landing offers the perfect blend of accessibility and serenity. With only 11 exclusive lots, our thoughtfully designed community prioritizes privacy, ensuring you experience the tranquility of nature. Furthermore, these lots are serviced by city water and sewer, an extremely rare feature for large rural lots on the Island.

Acreage Living

Turn your west coast dream home into a reality with our spacious 1-acre lots. Whether you enjoy hosting guests while cherishing your home as a sanctuary, our properties provide the perfect balance. Each lot allows for the construction of a 900-square-foot guest house, ensuring your privacy and creating a peaceful atmosphere for extended stays and holidays.

The property

The journey to develop Duke's Landing began in 2016 with the purchase of our initial 7 acres. These scenic grounds were acquired from a family who had called them home for over 80 years, nurturing two generations amid their natural beauty.

The previous owner of the property was the 4th Duke of Sutherland (1851 - 1913). He acquired the land for the commissioning of a personal fishing lodge, a testament to his appreciation for the natural allure that surrounded him. Sutherland Drive received its name in the 1970s to pay homage to the Duke's connection to the area.
